Biography
Member of the Board of Directors since 2013.Born on April 15, 1977.Educational background:Moscow State Institute for International Relations, expert in international economic relations (1999).Professional experience:After graduation, he worked in ING Barings' corporate banking division until 2000. Later that year he became an analyst in Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking Department, a position he held for 3 years.In 2003 Mr. Bashkirov joined McKinsey & Co., a consulting company, as an associate. After 3 years with McKinsey & Co., he moved on to become a Senior Associate in Goldman Sachs' Special Situations Group, where he worked until 2008. In 2009 Mr. Bashkirov joined Interros as the Operations Director of the Investments Department, and was promoted to head of the department in 2011.Since March 2013, he has been the Interros Deputy CEO for Investments. He has also been a member of the Management Board since 2011. Mr. Bashkirov has sat on the Boards of Directors of Rosa Khutor, ProfEstate, Cinema Park, and ProfMedia Holdings.In March 2013, he became the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ProfMedia Holding, as well as a member of the Board and Chairman of the Budget Committee of MMC Norilsk Nickel.
