Alexander Kuzin

Biography

Alexander devoted more than 20 years to the development of Russia's pharmaceutical industry, is a member of the Coordinating Council of the Russian Association of Pharmaceutical Marketing (RAFM). Before becoming the head of NovaMedika, he was the first deputy general director of the pharmacy chain Rigla, the largest player on the Russian market. Earlier, from 2004 to 2009, he headed the DSM Group, one of the largest marketing and analytical agencies on the Russian pharmaceutical market. From 1996 to 2003, Alexander held various positions in marketing and advertising in the pharmaceutical company Protek. Prior to the appointment of Novamediki as general director, in 2015, Alexander was Managing Director of RMI Partners , which manages venture fund RusnanoMedInvest, including one of its largest investment projects, NovaMedikoy. It was Alexander who supervised the operational management of NovaMedika, successfully solving the tasks of its development. Under his leadership, the company started creating a number of its own R & D preparations, opened an innovative Technology Center, became a strategic partner of Pfizer, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, and, within the framework of this partnership, began construction of an injection pharmaceutical plant in the Kaluga region. The professional community recognized this cooperation as the transaction of the year in the framework of the National Industry Award "Pintin Ounce". Alexander is a multiple owner of the national industry award "Platinum Ounce": in 2007 he won in the category "Recognition of the Press", in 2012 - a laureate in the nomination "Functional Manager". In 2017, NovaMedika, led by Alexander, received the "Platinum Ounce" in the nomination "Deal of the Year" (the victory was awarded to the companies NovaMedika and Pfizer for the deal on the strategic partnership that they concluded in 2016). Three times - in 2012, 2013 and 2014 - he was included in the rating of "Top-1000 Russian Managers" of the Association of Managers of Russia.
