Artem Zhavoronkov

Biography

Artem’s career in the pharmaceutical industry started in 2006 at Novartis Pharma, where he progressed in just five years from sales analyst to the head of CRM and sales data management. During this time several tools and processes were launched and upgraded: the CRM system, business intelligence system, sales force effectiveness processes, and various methods aimed at increasing sales force effectiveness and motivation, the sales planning process, and sales data management system. Then Artem spent two years at Teva in charge of the sales force effectiveness and CRM functions, where he built the sales force effectiveness function from scratch, introduced innovative targeting and segmentation methods, launched a new CRM system, and implemented several international projects aimed at the integration of the company’s divisions based in several countries into a uniform set of processes and standards and the development of the SFE function in these countries. Artem has a mathematical and IT background. He graduated from Komsomolsk-on-Amur State Technical University, Faculty of IT, in 2002 and obtained a PhD in Mathematical Modelling, Discrete Mathematics and Program Complexes in 2005.
