Mary Anderson

Biography

Mary has over 22 years of international licensing and business development experience, in-licensing innovative products at all stages of clinical development as well as marketed products. Before joining NovaMedica, Mary’s experience included five years as Head of Licensing and Business Development for the Oncology division of Merck KGaA, a global pharmaceutical and chemical company. She also played an integral role in Merck's €10.6 billion purchase of the biotech firm Serono headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. Prior to Merck KgaA, Mary held various business development positions, including ten years at Bayer’s headquarters in Leverkusen, Germany, in various positions related to business development, strategic planning, and research. Mary obtained a BA in Biochemistry from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo and an MBA from St. Mary’s University, Moraga, California.
