Biography
Alena has been with OCT since 2009. As the head of the Ukrainian office, she is responsible for all administrative and financial operations, and as a project manager, for monitoring investigational site activities by maintaining communications between OCT and investigators, and for supervision and training of CRAs. She is also responsible for ensuring compliance with highest quality standards and protection of subjects’ rights, safety, and welfare during studies. Being involved in project management, Alena provides overall study supervision focusing on team training, planning, quality control and reporting. Alena has an extensive experience in monitoring and supporting all phases of clinical studies in accordance with FDA regulations, local regulations, GCP, and ICH guidelines. Prior to her joining OCT, Alena worked as a CRA at a global CRO, deputy head of foreign dept. at an international insurance company, and as a physician. Alena holds an MD degree of the Lugansk State Medical University.
