Biography

Ruth Fattori is senior vice president, Talent Management, Training and Development of PepsiCo. In its global portfolio of food and beverage brands, PepsiCo has 22 different brands that generate more than $1 billion each in estimated annual retail sales. With net revenues of over $63 billion, PepsiCo’s main businesses also make hundreds of other enjoyable foods and beverages that are respected household names throughout the world. She assumed the role in February 2013 and is responsible for the development of a rich senior leadership pipeline, including assessment initiatives and succession planning. Ruth also leads the advancement of our PepsiCo University agenda and is responsible for growing the learning culture at PepsiCo. Prior to joining PepsiCo, Fattori was managing partner of Pecksland Partners, LLC, where she advised CEOs and senior executives on succession planning, talent development and other human resource issues. Fattori served as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for MetLife. As a member of the executive leadership team, she was responsible for key functions across the enterprise, including audit, ethics and compliance, human resources, advertising and brand management, communications, contributions and community relations as well as real estate, procurement, and security. She also served as Chair of MetLife Foundation. Before joining MetLife, she was Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Motorola and was part of the Chairman's executive team. She previously held senior human resources positions at JP Morgan Chase and Siemens Corporation. She has built expertise through experience in process and productivity at General Electric, JPMorgan Chase, and ABB Inc. The early days of her career were spent in engineering and service management positions at Xerox. A Governor of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, she serves as Chair of the Pension Committee and is a member of the Human Resources and Compensation Committee. She is a Sustaining Member of the President's Council of Cornell Women and a former Trustee of Polytechnic Institute of New York University. Ruth holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell University.
