Biography

Children's neurologist. In 1994 he graduated from the pediatric faculty of the Russian State Medical University named after NI Pirogov. From 1994 to 1996 studied in clinical residency, from 1996 to 1999. Full-time postgraduate study at the Moscow Research Institute of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Since 02.1999 he worked as a neurologist physician of the Department of Medical and Prophylactic Care of the Ministry of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, since 10.1999 - as a research fellow of the Department of Psychoneurology and Epileptology of the Institute, and since 04.2000 as Deputy Chief Medical Officer for the Medical Unit, from 10.2014 he worked in the position of deputy director of the Moscow Research Institute of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, continuing the work of the neurologist doctorate of the institute's advisory department. In 2000 he defended his thesis on the topic: "The effectiveness of immunotherapy of resistant forms of epilepsy in children." In 2013 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: "Pathogenetic characteristics of the most important clinical forms of disorders of psychological development and behavior in children and optimization of their treatment." During the time he worked in various problems of children's neurology, children's epileptology, perinatal neurology, disorders of the nervous system in children with mental illnesses, autism spectrum disorders, sleep disorders in children and mitochondrial diseases. AIKrapivkin has a high professionalism, was responsible for the implementation of certain programs of interregional cooperation of the Institute, organizer and participant of on-site examinations of doctors of specialists in the regions of the Far North. AI Krapivkin is a member of the organizing committee of scientific congresses, scientific and practical conferences on topical pediatrics issues conducted by the Institute, is the WHO expert on "Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses", is the author of more than 60 publications in domestic and foreign literature.
