Biography
Michael Veniaminovich Ugrumov is currently Head of the Laboratory of Neurohistology, Institute of Normal Physiology, Russian Academy Medical Sciences, Moscow, Russia. He is also Director of the Centre for Brain Research and Development of Innovative Technologies for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Brain Diseases, Russian Academy of Sciences.Mikhail Veniaminovich Ugrumov graduated from 2nd Moscow University Medical School, USSR in 1970 before completing a PhD at the Institute of Evolutionary Physiology and Biochemistry, Academy of Sciences, Leningrad, USSR in 1973. Since then Michael Veniaminovich Ugrumov has been awarded several degrees and a PhD in Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, and a Professorship in Radiology and Pharmacology at State Medical University, Russia. He has worked in several research and senior scientist posts at the Institute of Human Morphology and Institute of Developmental Biology as well as Head of the Laboratory of Hormonal Regulations, Institute of Developmental Biology, USSR Academy of Sciences.
