Biography
Rem Viktorovich Petrov is a Doctor of Sciences, an Academician, immunologist and a university professor. In 1984 he was elected a full member of the Russian Academy of Siences. In the Academy of Sciences, his studies include molecular and cellular immunology, immunogenetics and the creation of artificial vaccines. He is an author of more than 300 scientific publications. Rem Viktorovich Petrov is a member of the Council of the International Union of Immunological Society. With more than ten years of involvement in UNESCO activitiy, he is a member of the International Scientific Advisory Board, vice Chairman of the Molecular Cell Biology Network and a member of the Bioethics Committee.
