Sven Ombudstvedt

Biography

Mr. Sven Ombudstvedt has served as Independent Chairman of the Board of Directors at PhosAgro PAO (former PhosAgro OAO), since May 2011. He has been Independent Member of the Company's Board of Directors since February 13, 2014 . On June 10, 2013 he was appointed Member of the Audit Committee, Strategy Committee, as well as Remuneration and Human Resources Committee at the Company. He is also Member of the Company’s Committee of Labor Protection, Industrial Safety and Environment since February 2014. Additionally to his current duties at the Company, since January 2010, he has served as Chief Executive Officer at Norske Skogindusttrier ASA. He joined this company from SAS, where he was senior vice president (SVP) SCD from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, he served as SFO and Head of Strategy at Yara International ASA from 2006 until 2008. Earlier in his career, he spent several years with Norsk Hydro ASA, and held such positions as SVP upstream operations from 2003 to 2006, SVP corporate strategy between 2002 and 2003, and SVP commercial policy and industrial restructuring at Hydro Agri, among others. Mr. Ombudstvedt holds a Master of Science degree in International Management from Thunderbird University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University
