Biography
Dr. Christie Thomas is board-certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. She specializes in the treatment of connective tissue disorders and diseases of the immune system. Dr. Thomas is a fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology. She received her B.A. in English from Birmingham-Southern College in 2002. She then attended the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, where she received her M.D. in 2006. After completing her Internal Medicine internship at the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2007, she completed her Internal Medicine residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009. She completed her Rheumatology fellowship training at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in 2011. She remained in Washington, D.C. and served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at George Washington University until she joined RANA in July 2013.
