Biography
Dr. Macon Phillips is board-certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. He has practiced in Huntsville since 1981, specializing in the treatment of arthritis and connective tissue disorders. Dr. Phillips is a Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Phillips earned his BS degree from Duke University and his medical degree from Medical College of Virginia. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and his fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Phillips is a Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Huntsville. He has been a Board Member of the Health Care Authority of the City of Huntsville since 2007.
