Biography
Dr. Robert Hunt is board-certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. He is a fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology. He specializes in the treatment of arthritis and connective tissue diseases. Dr. Hunt attended Morningside College where he received his BS in Chemistry and received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed an internship at Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. He then went on to complete his Internal Medicine Residency at Portsmouth Navy Hospital. Dr. Hunt completed his Fellowship in Rheumatology at The University of Cincinnati Medical Center and has been with RANA since 1985. Dr. Hunt is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at UAB School of Medicine.
