Education 1986 - Ufa Aviation Institute, instrument engineering major 1996 - Russian Presidential Academy of Public Administration, law major Professional Background 1987—1989 — Secretary of the Young Communist League Committee of the Ufa Aviation Institute; 1989—1991 — USSR People’s Deputy (elected on the Young Communist League ballot); 1990—1991 — Secretary of the Young Communist League Central Committee; 1991—1992 — Chairman of the RSFSR State Committee for Youth Policy; 1992—1996 — Head of the Russian Committee for the Affairs of Young People; December 1996 - Head of the General Department of Social Policy of the Russian Ministry of Economy; 1997—2007 — Deputy Minister, State Secretary and First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation; 2007—2010 — Managing Director and Board Chairman of Investment Company Troika Dialog CJSC; On 22 December 2010, appointed by Moscow mayoral decree a Moscow Deputy Mayor for Economic Policy in charge of budgeting, industrial and economic policies, government procurement, trade and services. From September 2013, Rector of Moscow’s SKOLKOVO Management School. In the Moscow government Sharonov serves as Mayor’s Adviser. Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Moscow Urban Forum. Andrei Sharonov is the Board Chairman of Management Company NefteTransService LLC and Management Company Eco System OJSC, Board Member of JSC Rosgeo, OJSC Sovcomflot, and NOVATEK OJSC, Supervisory Council Member of the Moscow Exchange, OJSC Bank VTB.
