Biography
Born in 1947. Graduated from Ufa State Oil Technical University in 1971. Ph.D. in Economics. Governmental and Institutional Awards: • Order For Merit to the Fatherland, Class IV, • Certificate of Merit from the Government of the Russian Federation, • Commendation from the Government of the Russian Federation, • Certificate of Merit from the Central Office of the Government of the Russian Federation, • Title of Honorary Economist of the Russian Federation, • Title of Honorary Economist of the Republic of Bashkortostan. From 2000 to 2004 — Minister of the Russian Federation for Taxes and Levies. From 2004 to 2012 — Assistant to the Chairman of the Russian Federation Government. From 2012 to 2013 — Advisor to the President of the Republic of Bashkortostan. From 2013 - Advisor to the President of Rosneft. Since March 2015 - Head of Internal Audit, Rosneft. Since July 2016 - General Director of ROSNEFTEGAZ (since May to July 2016 - Acting General Director of ROSNEFTEGAZ). Since 2016 - Vice President, the Head of Internal Audit, Rosneft. Since July 2016 - member of the Management Board of Rosneft . Gennady Bukaev holds a seat in the boards of several organizations. Gennady Bukaev is not a shareholder of Rosneft.
