Biography
Born on February 17, 1962. Education: Nikolay Rogalev graduated from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute in 1985, majoring in majoring in Thermal Power Plants. He earned a Candidate of Science degree in Engineering in 1988 and a Doctor of Science degree in Engineering in 1999. Professional background: From 1989 to 2007, he worked as a junior research associate, a research associate, a senior research associate, a professor, the Head of the Department for Industrial Economics and Corporate Management, and the Pro-Rector for Innovation of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute. From 2007 to 2010, he was the Advisor to the Director General of NIIgazeconomika, the Deputy Director General for Innovative Development of OOO Gazprom Energoholding, OAO Gazprom. From 2010 to 2012, he was the Research Supervisor and the First Deputy Director General of ZAO Escotech. From 2012 to 2013, he was the Deputy Manager for Research and Innovation of the Energy without Borders Fund, JSC INTER RAO UES. From 2013, he is the Rector of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (National Research University). From 2016, he is the President of the Scientific and Technical Council of Unified Energy System Non-profit Partnership. Winner of the science and technology award of the Government of the Russian Federation; winner of the education award of the Government of the Russian Federation. Member of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation; member of the Board of Directors of PJSC ROSSETI; member of the Public Council of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of PJSC RusHydro. No stake/ordinary shares held in the authorized capital of PJSC ROSSETI.
