Biography
Born in 1951. Education: Nikolay Shulginov graduated from the Sergo Ordzhonikidze Novocherkassk Polytechnic Institute in 1973, majoring in Industrial and Urban Electricity Supply. He holds a Candidate of Science degree in Engineering. Professional background: From 1976 to 1998, his career progressed from an engineer to the Head of the Central Dispatching Service of Stavropolenergo, Pyatigorsk. From 1998 to 2002, he worked at the North Caucasus Integrated Dispatching Administration, a branch of RAO UES of Russia, Pyatigorsk, as the Deputy Director and Director of the Territorial Settlement and Dispatching Center of the Federal Wholesale Electricity and Capacity Market. From 2002 to 2004, he was a member of the Management Board and the Director for Technical Audit of the System Operator – Centralized Dispatching Administration (SO – CDA). In 2004, he was appointed as the Deputy Chairman and, then, the First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of SO UPS, JSC.
