Biography
Born on May 29, 1974, in Leningrad. Education: Nikolay Podguzov graduated from Saint Petersburg State Technical University in 1997. He also graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation (MGIMO) in 2000. Professional background: From 2000 to 2003, he held various positions at the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation (lead specialist, chief specialist, and consultant). From 2003 to 2006, he was the Vice President of TRUST Investment Bank. From 2006 to 2010 he was the Vice President and Division Director of Renaissance Capital – Financial Consultant. From 2010 to 2012, he worked as a unit head and division head of VTB Capital. From 2012 to 2013, he was the Deputy Director of the Department for Economic Affairs and Finance of the Government of the Russian Federation. From September 2013 to July 2017, he was the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. From June 2015 to June 2016 - Member of the Board of Directors of JSC "Rosgeo".
