Biography
Roman Nikolayevich Berdnikov was born August 14, 1973. In 1998 he graduated from Moscow Power Engineering Institute with a specialization in ‘Electric power plants’. Between 1997 and 1998 – working as senior electric fitter in Mosenergo, OJSC. In 1998 – 1999 – specialist in Department for tariffs and technical/economic indicators, Central Control AdministrationUES , OJSC. In 1999 – 2002 – specialist in RDC FOREM Department, leading specialist in Power market development department, RAO UES of Russia, OJSC. In 2002 – 2009 – senior specialist, head of department, deputy manager, Strategic planning department, head of Client and market interaction department, Director for development and client interaction, FGC UES, OJSC. October 2009 – elected member of board of management FGC UES, OJSC. In 2010 – 2013 – Deputy Chairman of the Board, First Deputy Chairman of the Board, FGC UES, OJSC. Since 2013 – First deputy General Director, Rosseti, PJSC. He is currently the Acting Director General, the Chairman of the Management Board, and a member of the Board of Directors of PJSC LENENERGO. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC FTC. He serves as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Noncommercial Partnership of Territorial Power Grid Organizations. He is a member of the Presidium of the Russian National Committee of the Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE). He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Scientific and Technical Council of Unified Energy System Non-profit Partnership.
