Biography
In October 2016 Alexey Sapunov was appointed Senior Vice President for Technical Infrastructure of PJSC Rostelecom. In April 2015 Alexey was appointed Vice President and Director of Far-East Macroregional Branch of Rostelecom. In August 2014 he was made Rostelecom Executive Director and Network Development Director. Since April 2013 Alexey was Rostelecom Executive Director – Infrastructure Director. His career in telecommunications industry started in 2001 when he was an engineer with (formerly) OJSC Combellga (OJSC Vympelcom as of 2010), where he successively took various positions and finally was appointed transport network director.
Research Interest
In 2000 Alexey graduated from Moscow State Institute of Engineering Physics specializing in electronics and automation of physical installations. Alexey Sapunov was born on 24 April 1977.
