Biography
Anna Shumeyko was born in Moscow and graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University where she studied Economic Theory at the Department of Economics. Later she received her MBA degree in Finance from State University Higher School of Economics in Moscow. Anna has gained vast and long-term professional experience in financial management. Her career was launched in 1993 in the Central Bank of Russia, where she successively held positions starting from Economist and ending with Head of Sector in Prudential Bank Supervision Department. Since 2000 Anna held senior management positions in various financial organizations. Since 2008 she had been with VTB Group, initially as an Adviser to Deputy President, CEO; later she was appointed Vice President and Head of Office for Medium Business Development and Coordination.
Research Interest
In April 2017 Anna was appointed Vice President and Chief of Staff of Rostelecom President.
