Biography
Born on March 7, 1970 in the city of Kirov, Dmitry graduated in 1991 from the Kirov Polytechnic Institute and in 1999 9from the Moscow Technical University of Communications & Informatics and the MIRBIS Moscow Higher International Business School (presidential training programme). He also holds a Candidate of Technical Sciences degree (1977), a PhD in economics (2009) and an Executive MBA (2006).
Research Interest
Dmitry has worked in the telecommunications sector since 1992, working his way up from software engineer in OJSC Kirovelektrosvyaz to deputy director of the marketing branch in the Kirov division of OJSC VolgaTelecom. In April 2006 he was appointed deputy general director of VolgaTelecom and director of its Kirov branch. From July 2007 to March 2011 Dmitry held the position of deputy general director of VolgaTelecom and director of its Nizhny Novgorod branch, before becoming director of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of OJSC Rostelecom. In April 2011 he was appointed Vice President of OJSC Rostelecom and Director of its Volga Macroregional Division.
