Biography
Georgiy Tsikhiseli ws born on 13 February 1973. In 1995 he graduated from Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics where he studied multi-channel telecommunications. In 1997 Georgiy started his career in the telecom industry working for CJSC PTT-Teleport and then for Advanced Mobile Systems. In 1998 he was appointed Chief of Network Operation Department of CJSC PTT-Teleport-Moscow, and then in 2001 he became Head of Data System Management Center with OJSC MGTS. Since 2007 he had been Operation Director of OJSC Mostelecom, and in 2012 he became Deputy Technical Director of OJSC MGTS.
Research Interest
In spring 2013 Georgiy started working for Rostelecom initially as Executive Director and Fixed Access Director, then as Executive Director and Local Network Operation Director. In October 2015 he became Vice President for Customer Service Management and Subscriber Access Networks. In February 2017 Georgiy Tsikhiseli was appointed Vice President for Network Infrastructure of Rostelecom.
