Biography
Chairman of the Board of Directors, Special Representative of the Russian President for nature protection, environmental and transport matters. S. Ivanov was born in Leningrad in 1953; and graduated from Leningrad State University, Department of Philology, Translator Division. Then he finished High Courses in Translation with the KGB of USSR in Minsk. Sergei Ivanov gained experience and expertise in corporate finance, strategic management, risk management, financial accounting, corporate governance and telecommunications. Since 2008 and until 2011 Sergei Ivanov was Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian government, since 2011 he had been the Russian President’s Chief of Staff, and since 2016 he has been the Special Representative of the Russian President for nature protection, environmental and transport matters
Research Interest
Sergei Ivanov has been Member of Rostelecom Board of Directors since 2015. In 2017 S. Ivanov was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JSC RDIF Management Company.
