Biography
She has more than 15 years experience in Drug Development and over 10 years in Global Business Development, including Licensing, M&A, and Venture investments. Having academic education in science, Master degree in Biological Chemistry and Ph.D in Clinical Pharmacology, Dr. Povolotsky was involved in development of 14 drugs, which are currently on the markets in different countries; she served as an R&D Head of two biotech companies in Israel, Lean-Ex and Modus Biological Membranes, as an investment expert at Magellan Summit Ventures, and the Director of Scientific Intelligence of Japanese company Daiichi Sankyo. Before her coming to R-Pharm as a Vice President of Global Partnering, Valeria was a Director of the Global Business Development at one of the biggest Pharmaceutical Company, Hoffmann La-Roche, responsible for Partnering in Emerging Markets. As of now, she is leading strategy and execution of the International Partnering operations, bringing R-Pharm to the Global Markets.
