Anton Bazulev

Biography

Professional Experience:   2013-2016 :  Director of External Relations, United Metallurgical Company (OMK).  He was responsible for promoting the company’s corporate profile and goals with federal and regional governments, industry associations and the general public.   2004-2013: Director for Corporate Communications of NLMK, the largest Russian steel company.    Mr. Bazulev was responsible for developing the company’s corporate identity and supporting its growing business both in Russia and internationally. He directly managed the company’s government relations, investor relations, and PR functions.     2002-2004:  Head of the Government Relations Department of “Russian Steel,” the industry association representing all major steel producers in Russia.   2001-2002 : Assistant to the Vice-President, The Cherkizovsky Group,  responsible for support of international trade projects.   1993-2001 : Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, where Mr. Bazulev held diplomatic positions, specializing  in economic and multi-lateral diplomacy with the EU, OECD,  and the Council of Europe.  From 1996-2001 he served in the Permanent Mission of Russia to NATO in Brussels, Belgium.  

Research Interest

Anton Bazulev was appointed Director for International Projects in January 2017. He is responsible for development of strategic relations with key international stakeholders of RUSAL, including governments, NGO’s and industry associations, as well as for trade policy and international market  access issues.  In this role, Mr. Bazulev works closely with RUSAL’s businesses and divisions in countries where RUSAL maintains presence and in its major markets.
