Biography

Member of the Board, First Deputy Director General — Chief Engineer He was born in 1952 in Ugleuralsk of Perm region. In 1975, he graduated from Togliatti Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Automobiles and Tractors (Qualification - “Mechanical Engineer”), in 2004 - the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of Management of Company’s Development. From 1975 to 1976 he worked as a design engineer at Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. In 1976—1981 he worked as a production and technical department engineer, the turbine room foreman, the turbine room senior foreman, the turbine room deputy head at Saratovskaya HPP. In 1981—1983 he was Deputy Head of the turbine room at Cascade of Taymyr HPPs. In 1983—1985 he was the Party Committee Secretary of Hantay HPP, Norilsk Central Committee of the CPSU. In 1985—1989 he served as Deputy Head of Construction Management, the Party Committee Secretary of Kureygesstroy. In 1989—1991 he was Director of Kureyskaya HPP. In 1991—1999 he was Acting Head of Production, Chief Engineer at Saratovskaya HPP. In 1999—2002 he was Director of Saratovskaya HPP. In 2002-2004 he was Deputy General Director, Director for Production at JSC "UK VoGEK". In 2004—2005 he was Head of the Department for industry and technology-focused policy (technical and production policy) of Hydropower Generation Business Unit of JSC RAO UES of Russia. In 2005—2007 he was Deputy Head of the Production Business Unit of JSC “HydroOGK”. In 2007—2009 he was Member of the Board, Managing Director, Director of the Production Business Unit of JSC "RusHydro".
