Biography
Sharat Chandrasekhar currently serves as the CFO at Rusmolco, having joined the firm in 2014. In this role, Sharat is responsible for Finance, Treasury, Legal and IT. Prior to Rusmolco, Sharat was a Finance Manager at Olam International, Singapore from 2011-14, where he was the Finance Controller for their Global Dairy and Commodity Financial Services Division. Over time, Sharat has further cemented his position as a leader of the business. His deep financial expertise coupled with a robust business acumen has enabled implementation of sound business decisions at the firm. Apart from his role as an advisor to top management, Sharat has also worked with diverse teams across the globe on varied business issues. Often described by peers as highly collegial, Sharat continues to be adept at leading multicultural teams and enabling them to achieve real results. Given his strong technical expertise and leadership skills, Sharat is a valuable asset to our organization, driving our teams towards conquering new frontiers. Sharat is a qualified Chartered Accountant and also received a Bachelors in Commerce from Madras University, India.
