Biography
Sunil has almost two decades of experience working in different capacities as Finance and Accounts executive in various industries in Indonesia and Singapore. Sunil is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He started his career in 1995 as Finance Manager with P.T. Indo Bharat Rayon, Indonesia, a large Viscose Rayon Fiber manufacturing company and part of Aditya Birla Group, India. In 2001 he moved to AKR Corporindo, a large chemical manufacturing, trading & distribution group in Indonesia with operations in Mainland China as Sr. Manager (Corporate Assurance and Project Purchase). He then joined Olam Indonesia operations as General Manager Finance in 2005 and has recently moved to the Head Office of Olam in Singapore as Vice president Finance and Accounts. In his role in these companies Sunil has gained extensive exposure in International Corporate Finance & Trade Finance, Working Capital Management, Forex Management, Accounts Finalization & Consolidation, Taxation, Insurance, MIS & Systems Development, Project appraisals and feasibility preparation, Commercial negotiations, Performance review of Group units and Internal audit.
