Viktor Vekselberg

Biography

 Mr. Victor Feliksovich Vekselberg serves as the Chairman of Management Board at RENOVA Group since 1990. In 1990, Mr. Vekselberg founded the firm and took the post of its General Director. He also served as the President of the firm. Mr. Vekselberg is the Co-Owner and Member of the Management Board of Rosneft Limited. In March 2010, he was appointed as the Head of the Skolkovo Innovation Center project. He has been President there since June 2010. He serves as Chief Operating Officer at TNK-BP. He has been Director of Open Joint-Stock Company TNK-BP Holding since January 2011. Since July 2001, he served as the Director for Strategic Planning and Corporate Development at TNK. He served as Managing Director for Production and Technologies at TNK-BP. He served as a Member of Management Board and Executive Director from September 2008 to January 15, 2011. He was the Member of the Board of Directors of TNK-BP from 2003 until 2013. From September 2000 to January 2003, he served as Director for TNK-BP. He is an Owner of Integrated Energy Systems. He is employed at Holiday Classik. Mr. Vekselberg served as an Owner of CJSC Integrated Energy Systems. From September, 2000 to January 2003, he served as President at SUAL Holding. Mr. Vekselberg was Co-Owner of Sual Group. From 1996 to 2000, he served as Director General at SUAL. He established Siberian and Urals Aluminium Company (SUAL) in 1996. He served as General Director at ZAO Renova and First Vice President at Tyumen Oil Company (TNK). Mr. Vekselberg serves as Chairman of Rusia Petroleum JSC. He serves as Director of Moscow CableCom Corp, Rosneft Limited, Asset Management Company Rusnano and Open Joint Stock Company RusNano. He serves as Director of OAO SUAL Holding and served as the Chairman since January 2003. He served as Chairman of United Company RUSAL PLC from March 26, 2007 to March 12, 2012 and its Director from March 26, 2007 to March 16, 2012. He served as Chairman of RENOVA Management AG. He served as Chairman of the Management Board from 2002 until 2003 and Director of Tyumen Oil Company. He served as an Executive Director of Rosneft International Holdings Limited. He serves as a Member of the Trustee Board at the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, as well as a Member of the Trustee Board of the Higher School of Economics. Mr. Vekselberg is actively involved in social organizations and served as member of the Management Bureau of Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Directorate, member of the Board of Directors of Association of the Metal and Mining Industrialists Association, a member of National Economic Council, Active Academician of International Academy of Science, Ecology and Life Activity Safety. During his studies at the institute in 1978, he got to work as a lab assistant in the Special Design Bureau of rodless pumps. Till 1990, he worked in the Special Design Bureau, successively occupying posts of an engineer, senior engineer, leader of research group, head of group and head of laboratory. In 1979, he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Transport Engineers (MIIT) with honours and started a post-graduate course at the Computer Centre of the Academy of Science and proceeded postgraduate studentship under the Data Processing Centre at the Advanced Computing Centre of the Academy of Sciences.
