Biography
He is the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences .He is the chairperson of Commission of the Russian Academy of Sciences on work with youth. He is chairperson of the Expert Commission of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the analysis and evaluation of the scientific content of federal state educational standards and educational literature for primary, secondary and higher schools. He is a member of RAN Commission to develop guidelines on the amount of funds provided for in the federal budget for the next fiscal year to fund fundamental and exploratory research, carried out by research organizations and educational institutions of higher education, and the directions of their expenditure.
