Dmitry Peskov

Biography

 Born in Voronezh in 1975. In 1998 graduated from Voronezh State University majoring in political youth movements. In 1999 received a master’s degree at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences and University of Manchester. Since 2000, he has worked at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), where he was in charge of MGIMO strategic development, led the Center for Internet Policy, and was a Director of innovations. Established “Metaver”, an organization developing new formats of education those are in compliance with principles of venture economy. Since 2009, he has been Head of Strategic Research of OJSC All-Russian Exhibition Centre. Since 2011 to the present day, Dmitry Peskov has been Director of Young Professionals Division of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. Dmitry Peskov is a member of the task force of the Presidential Economic Council focused on "Social policy and development of the human resources potential"; Government Expert Council; council of the "Agency for Development of Professional Communities and Skilled Workers Worlskills Russia" Association task force for development of measures aimed at increase of the number of skilled workers by 2020 up to level equal to one third of the total number of qualified workers at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation; Public and government council for independent evaluation of the quality of professional education, member of Council of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs for development of youth, innovation and small business, member of the Inter-department committee for technological development of the Presidential Council of the Russian Federation for economy modernization and innovation development of Russia; National Presidential Council of professional qualifications (Leader of the task force for support of the best qualification development practices). supervisory council of the Federal State Autonomous Higher education Establishment "Saint-Petersburg National research University of Information Technology, Mechanics and Optics"; Inter-department task force for development of electronic education, remote education technologies for educational programs at the educational institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia; Engineering and Industry Design Council of Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia; Management Board of the charity fund "Deaf-Blind Support Fund"; from 2013 to 2014, member of the Board of Directors of "OAK" OJSC, "GAO VVC" OJSC,"Mashpribor" IAT, from 2014 till current moment - member of the Board of Directors of "AEROFLOT" OJSC, "Russian Railways" OJCS.
