Biography
On April 15, 2013 Oleg Karpushin took up the position of SPD Chief Executive Officer. He succeeded Simon Durkin, who took the role of Vice President Safety, Environment & Social Performance for Royal Dutch Shell. Oleg, 45, has a 20-year experience in oil & gas industry. He took part in a number of projects around the globe, including Nigeria, Turkey, USA, Kazakhstan and Russia. Prior to taking up his new position, Oleg was Asset Manager in Shell working at Swamp West and Land West Assets in Nigeria. Before that he had worked in Sakhalin Energy as Vityaz Complex Operations Manager and Offshore Asset Manager.
