Biography
As head of the SAP S/4HANA business and Center of Excellence in North America, Joe Paytas leads a collective of technical and functional experts who assist field teams in executing deals and creating pipeline across all SAP solutions. His work with sales leaders and our customers drives a deeper understanding of the power of SAP S/4HANAand the value it can create for our clients. Immediately prior to his current post, Joe was the chief operating officer for the U.S. East, where he ensured consistent execution of sales strategies, operations and go-to-market initiatives for SAP’ son-premise and cloud software businesses, to achieve regional revenue growth and market share. Since joining SAP in 1996, Joe has progressed through the organization via a series of technical, sales management and leadership roles, including regional vice president for Platform & Solutions, and vice president for Database & Technology. Prior to that, he was a global account director managing the relationship with some of SAP’s top global customers. Throughout his tenure, Joe cultivated expertise in many SAP solution areas, chief among them the technology and capabilities of SAP S/4HANA. A graduate of University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, Joe holds degrees in communications, history and economics.
