Biography
As head of SAP North America’s Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Line of Business, Pat McCarthy is responsible for driving sales performance, the go-to-market strategy and overall operations of the field sales organization across the U.S. and Canada. Since joining SAP in 2005, he has held a number of executive roles successfully leading Net New, Mobility, and Database &Technology teams throughout the U.S. Immediately prior to his current post, Pat served as chief operating officer for the Midwest region of the U.S., overseeing the consistent execution of sales strategies, operations and the region’s go-to-market initiatives. During his seven years with Oracle, Pathed various sales, industry principal, and solution roles. Over the course of his decade-long tenure with PepsiCo and its subsidiary Frito-Lay, Inc., Pat led teams in hand-held implementations, warehouse and fleet management, distribution operations, manufacturing and supply chain optimization. He was also involved in developing and implementing new route-to-market business models, in sales and operations planning, and establishing best practices. Pat graduated from Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois, sits on the board of Chicago Tech Academy, a charter non-profit for Chicago high school students, and supports global charitable endeavors through Kiva.
