Education and Career 1977 - graduated with honors from the Saratov Higher Military School of Chemical Defense 1977-1982 - served in the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany 1982-1987 - commanded a military platoon in the Belorussian Military District, served as chief of the chemical service of the tank regiment 1986-1987 - participated in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl accident 1990 - graduated from the Military Academy of Chemical Defense 1993 - participated in the liquidation of the accident at the Tomsk-7 facility (Siberian Chemical Combine). 1990-1993 - worked as a teacher in the Tomsk Command School of Communications of the Siberian Military District 1993-2009 - worked in the Saratov Military Engineering School of Chemical Protection, first as a teacher, and then as an assistant professor at the Department of "Technical Means for Special Processing and Operation of the Armed Forces of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense". 1999 - awarded the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences 2002 - awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in the department "Technical means of special processing and operation of the armed forces of radiation, chemical and biological protection." 2011 - entered the Saratov State Technical University (SSTU) at the Department of Natural and Technospheric Security.
