Since 2017 - working at the department "Physical Culture and Sports" of the SSTU named after Gagarin Yu.A. He is a master of sports of international class in track and field athletics, an honors pupil of physical education, champion of Europe in 1983 and the USSR in the men's relay 4x400 m, five-time champion and USSR record holder in sprinting, two times silver medalist of World Student Games (Canada, 1983, Japan, 1985), repeated champion and champion of Russia in track and field athletics among veterans (60 m, 100 m, 200 m), silver medalist of the World Athletics Championships (200 m) among veterans (Italy, 2007). He judged the world championship in athletics in 2006, repeatedly became the judge of the championships and championships of Russia in track and field athletics.
