Education and Career 1981 - graduated from the Saratov Polytechnic Institute and took the position of an engineer of the branch research laboratory of the department "Automation of technological processes in machine building". 1988 - defended his thesis. 1996 - defended his doctoral dissertation. Since 1996 , he holds the position of professor of the department "Metal-cutting machine tools and tools".
