Biography

Education and Career 1969-1974 - studied at the art and graphic faculty of the Orel Pedagogical Institute. Since 1976 , he has taught drawing, painting, the basics of linear and color composition at the design and architecture offices of the Saratov State Polytechnic University. He was engaged in the development and teaching of the propaedeutic course "The Basics of Linear and Color Composition" in the Saratov Art College in 1982-1983, 1993-1994, at the courses for the development of designers in Saratov in 1983, 1985, 1986. 1984-1993 - studied the pictorial and plastic culture and issues of the philosophical and artistic interpretation of the world under the leadership of the Leningrad artist P.I. Basmanov. Since 1979 he has been actively involved in art exhibitions in Russia and abroad. From 1988 to the present time he is one of the organizers and a regular participant of the annual plein airs in the homeland of the artist K S. Petrov-Vodkin in Khvalynsk. Since 1989 he is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. 1998 - worked as an artist-director on the artistic decision of the play "The Cherry Orchard" based on the play by A.P. Chekhov in the Saratov Academic Drama Theater named after Karl Marx. 2006 - awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of Russia". 2000-2013 - organized an experimental art-research group of artists SHPF (school of plastic shaping), conducted classes with young artists. The artist's works are kept in the Saratov Art Museum named after A.N. Radishchev, the Art Museum of Penza, the State Museum named after K.A.
