Biography

Education and Career 1976-1981 - studied at the Biological Faculty of the Saratov State University named after N.G. Chernyshevsky, specialized in the department of zoology of vertebrates. 1982-1996 - after graduation from the Saratov State University named after N.G. Chernyshevsky worked as an assistant to the Department of Ecology of the Biological Faculty of the SSU, teacher of the Environmental and Chemical College of the SSU, Deputy Director of the Regional Environmental Center for Students at the Ministry of Education of the Saratov Region. 1996-2010 - received two academic degrees: Master of Science in Environmental and Environmental Economics at Yale University; PhD in zoology and ecology at the University of North Carolina, and also taught in universities and worked in educational and research institutions in the United States. Since 2011 , he works as a professor at the Department of Ecology of the Saratov State Technical University named after Gagarin Yu.A.
