Biography
Vladimir S. Snigur M.D. is a psychiatrist, psychotherapist, English/Russian translator and interpreter, member of the International Society of Hypnosis (ISH). He received his medical degree from Moscow Medical Academy and took postgraduate training in therapeutics, anaesthesiology, and intensive care. After having worked in an intensive care unit for several years he took postgraduate training in psychiatry and psychotherapy. Currently he works as a psychotherapist in an outpatient clinic in Moscow and has private practice. Dr. Snigur is the author of New-Hypnosis.ru, the popular scientific site about therapeutic hypnosis, psychotherapy and neuroscience. Dr. Snigur for many years has been practicing martial arts and meditation. He has got black belt in Aikido Aikikai.
