Currently - Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology with the course of DPO.  Since 1999 he is the president of the regional association of obstetrician-gynecologists, neonatologists and mammologists.  Since 2005, the chairman of the problem commission of the ASMU "Perinatal aspects of the  development of reproductive health", since 2008, runs the research laboratory "Reproductive Health".  Gurieva VA is an expert of the Federal Service of the Roszdravnadzor Administration for the Altai Territory, a scientific consultant of the regional perinatal and regional mammological centers, an expert of the methodological commission of the regional health department and territorial fund.
