Since January 2011 General director of the Financial-Economic Information Service. Since October 2003 Mr Yakovlev was Executive Director of Financial & Business Information Service of the Interfax Group . FBIS combines business news reporting with in-depth analysis and commentary on economic and financial developments in Russia and the CIS. Chief executive officer of the leading Russian Financial News Agency – Interfax AFI. As Executive Director he oversees Interfax - Corporate News Agency, Russia’s major and exclusive provider of business, financial and risk-related information on companies, industries and markets. Mr Yakovlev led the team that launched the SPARK, Russia's biggest invormation resource, which for the first time brings together all available data on all legal entities operating in the Russian Federation. Experience in stock market trading, asset management and banking. Graduated from Moscow State University with PhD.
