Biography

"Year of birth: 1954. Alexander Auzan is dean of the Faculty of Economics, Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov. Lomonosov, professor, founder of the Institute of National Projects, one of the leading Russian economists. In the late 1980's. became one of the initiators of the creation of societies for the protection of consumers' rights; was a member of the Bureau of the Council of the World Consumer Organization Consumers International. From 2005 to 2011 headed the Association of Independent Centers for Economic Analysis (ANCEA). He was a member of the Commission under the President of the Russian Federation for Modernization and Technological Development of the Russian Economy and the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights. Currently he is a member of the Economic Council under the President of the Russian Federation. The author of more than a hundred scientific works, has many years of practical experience in advising national and regional governments. From 2011 to 2012 led the Expert Group ""Optimizing the Presence of the State: Reducing Regulatory Functions, Ensuring Transparency and Feedback with Citizens and Businesses"" on updating""Strategy 2020"". He is an independent director of the Board of Directors of OJSC RVC.
