Biography

"Year of birth: 1974. Alexander started work at the Cherepovets Steel Rolling Plant in 1997 as a mechanic repairman in the repair and tool shop. Then he worked as a shift master, a leading economist in the strategic planning department, served as deputy head of the strategic planning department, head of the production development department of OJSC Cherepovets Steel Rolling Plant. From 2002 to 2004 - Director of Technical Support of JSC ""Cherepovets Steel Rolling Plant"". In 2012, Alexander Shevelev took up the post of executive director of JSC ""Cherepovets Steel Rolling Plant"" (today - Cherepovets plant ""Severstal-metiz"").On July 1, 2012 he was appointed first deputy mayor of the city of Cherepovets, in June 2013 - deputy governor of the Vologda region. From 2013 to 2016 - General Director of OAO Severstal-metiz. From April 2016 to December 2016 - the general director of the group ""SVEZA"". In December 2016, he was appointed General Director of JSC Severstal Management. Alexander Shevelev graduated from the Vologda State Milk and Economics Academy with a degree in mechanical engineering, the second one is a branch of the St. Petersburg State Technical University (specialty - economist-manager).
