Biography
"Year of birth: 1953. Sakari Tamminen has extensive experience as a member of the Boards of Directors in steel and steel companies, including from 2004 to 2014, he served as President and CEO of the Finnish corporation Rautaruuki Corporation. Currently, Mr. Tamminen is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ovako Ab metallurgical company, and since 2002 he has been Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sanoma Corporation. He also holds the position of director at Dansk Bank Finland plc and the position of chairman of the board of directors at Industry Investment Ltd and Versowood. From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Tamminen served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Metso Corporation, and from 1991 to 1999 was executiveVice President and Chief Financial Officer of Rauma Corporation Plc.
