Biography
Mr. Dennis Yang has been Chief Operating Officer, Eastern Asia of SGS Ltd since 2002. He joined the Company in 1975 as Inspector for SGS Far East Limited in Taiwan. From 2000 till 2002, he acted as Managing Director, Taiwan. From 1992 till 2000, he served as Assistant General Manager, Taiwan. From 2000 till 2002, he also served as SBU Manager of industrial services of Greater China. From 1980 till 1992, he served at various positions at the Company, including Assistant Division Manager to Division Manager, followed by Branch Manager. He was also briefly Department Manager from 1978 till 1980. He obtained an Executive Masters of Business Administration degree at National Sun Yat-sen University in 2001. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering from National Taiwan Marine and Ocean University.
