Biography
Mr. Teymur Abasov has been Chief Operating Officer, Eastern Europe & Middle East of SGS Ltd since 2007. He joined the Company in 1994 as Senior Inspector for the Azerbaijan office. From 2001 till 2003, he served as Operations Manager, Oil Gas & Chemicals Services, Azerbaijan. From 2003 till 2004, he served as Managing Director, Georgia. From 2004 till 2006, he acted as Managing Director, Azerbaijan and Georgia. Between 2006 and 2007, he served as Managing Director, Kazakhstan & Caspian Sub-Region. Before his position as Managing Director, Georgia, he served for two years in the OGC division as Redwood Manager. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering.
