Biography
Mr. Dirk Hellemans is Chief Operating Officer, Northern, Central and Southern Europe of SGS Ltd since 2012. He was Chief Operating Officer, Central and North West Europe at SGS SA effective 2004 and before that Chief Operating Officer, North West Europe. He was Managing Director for the Belgium from 1997 till 2002. Prior to this, he served as Regional Sector Manager for SSC Europe from 1999 till 2002. He joined the Company, in 1988, as Director for SGS Qualitest in Belgium office. He also held various roles at SSC, Industrial, NDT and CTS. From 2002 till 2004, he served as Chief Operating Officer, North West Europe. In 1982, he was at Vlerick Management School (Gent University), where he was awarded a degree in Management. He also studied Chemical Engineering at Leuven University, where he received his degree in 1981.
