Biography
As Leading Research Scientist at CDM² Alexander conducts of research and industrial projects with CJSC AeroComposit, Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute and University Partners. The aim of the projects is development of the mathematical modeling methods for the technological process of manufacturing large-size composite aviation structures. Alexander develops methods and software for topological optimization of structures. Alexander participates in the development of educational courses in Continuum Mechanics and Manufacturing Processes. Alexander graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia, in 2002 and obtained his Candidate of Sciences degree (PhD equivalent) at the Research Institute for Machine Science named after A.A.Blagonravov of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMASH RAN) in 2006. Alexander has been working in the academic and engineering fields of mechanics of composite materials for more than 15 years. After defending his thesis in 2006 he supervised researches in the field of advanced technologies and construction with composite materials in the company ApATeCh. Since 2011, while working in TSAGI, he supervised the execution of industrial research contracts for the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The aim of the projects was to develop scientific-methodological base for the creation of normative and technical documentations for the stages of the selection of materials, technological processes, design and organization of serial production based on advanced methods of modeling of safety and service life of composite structural elements.
